Oral history interviews of the Ancker Nurses Alumni Association Oral History Project, 2000.

This project interviews five nurses who were graduates of the Ancker School of Nursing and members of its alumni association. They describe attending the school in St. Paul, Minn. in the 1930s through 1971 when it closed, including the curriculum, changes in the school, relocation of the hospital and school. In addition, they describe their activities within the Alumni Association and their nursing careers, including changes in medical technology, nursing duties and compensation.
